Spirit of The Lab In Motion2

Dancing in a field of daisys. A least a field of daisys for a short time. Our back yard, once lush green grass is now patches of dirt with spurts of weed. I don't mind, I love watching them play, dodging back and forth. A silent football game. This Lab Painting is oil on RayMar Archival canvas board. It will last a lifetime.

Twitter Dog #9 Gabe

This painting is special for two reasons. First, Gabe is a Therapy dog. Weimeramers are beautful and loving. I know this because when I still lived at home, my Dad got a Weimer Puppy. Misty. She was gangly as a pup but grew into one gorgeous girl. She and my Dad went everywhere together. Long walks, ball playing, he adored her. They would drive to the store in his huge Caddy. Misty would lean over on Dad and it always looked like she was driving as they went down the road. I'm sure he and Misty are together now beyond the Bridge having a great time.

TwitterDog #8

Now this great face was a challenge today. I decided since Roger I taking a staycation this week to paint out back with him by the pool. The Labs were sleeping and I went in the house for water. Coming back out I was met by three Labbies with ball in mouth. So we played in the pool for awhile then I got out to finish my work. The nose and eyes were done one handed while the other arm and hand threw a tennis ball into the water to keep them occupied. Mutli- tasking!!! Not bad.
This painting is on Archival Canvas board 6" square painted wih professional oils.
